ರಾಲ್ಫ್ ಬೋಲ್ಡ್ರೆವುಡ್, 1869ರಲ್ಲಿ ಪ್ರಕಟಿಸಿದ “ಓಲ್ಡ್ ಮೆಲ್ಬರ್ನ್ ಮೆಮೊರಿಸ್” ಗ್ರಂಥದಲ್ಲಿ ಸೇರಿಸಿದ ಕೆಲವು ಕವನಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಇದೊಂದು.

ರಾಲ್ಫ್ ಬೋಲ್ಡ್ರೆವುಡ್ ಅನ್ನುವುದು ಥಾಮಸ್ ಅಲೆಕ್ಸಾಂಡರ್ ಬ್ರೌನ್ ಅನ್ನುವವನ ಕಾವ್ಯನಾಮ.

 

ಬೇಕಾಗಿದ್ದಾರೆ

ಬಾಲಕಿಯರ ಶಾಲೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಶಿಕ್ಷಕಿಯಾಗಿ ಕೆಲಸ ಮಾಡಲು  ಇಪ್ಪತ್ತಮೂರು ವರ್ಷದ ಯುವತಿ ಬೇಕಾಗಿದ್ದಾರೆ.

ಗೆಳೆಯರು ಶೀತಲ, ನಿರ್ದಯರಾದಾಗ ಅನ್ನಿಸುತ್ತದೆ

ಇಪ್ಪತ್ತ ಮೂರರ ವಯಸ್ಸಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಆಸರೆಯಿದೆ.

ನನ್ನ ಹುಟ್ಟುಹಬ್ಬದ ದಿನ ಬರೆಯುತ್ತೇನೆ ನಿನಗೆ, ಅಪರಿಚಿತ ಗೆಳೆಯನೇ
