Karnataka must be proud to have a Cinematographer of the caliber of V.K Murthy.If Gurudutt another Kannadiga who made Cacutta his home can be considered as one of the Greatest Directors of our time the role played by V.K.Murthy is not so small.We can be really proud of them. I as a Dakshina Kannadiga will have additional pride since Gurudutt belonged to our Padukone.(Deepika Padukone is latest addition)
