ಗೌರಿ ಲಂಕೇಶ್ ಹತ್ಯೆಯ ಎರಡನೇ ಆರೋಪಿ ಬಂಧನ ?

ಪತ್ರಕರ್ತೆ ಗೌರಿ ಲಂಕೇಶ್ ಹತ್ಯೆ ಪ್ರಕರಣ ಹಳ್ಳಹಿಡಿದೋಯ್ತು ಎನ್ನುತ್ತಿರುವಂತೆಯೇ ಎಸ್ ಐ ಟಿ ಪೊಲೀಸ್ ವಶಕ್ಕೆ ಮತ್ತೋರ್ವ ಆರೋಪಿ ಸಿಕ್ಕಿದಾನೆನ್ನಲಾಗಿದ್ದು ಈ ಪ್ರಕರಣದಲ್ಲಿ ಸಿಕ್ಕಿದವರ ಸಂಖ್ಯೆ ಎರಡಕ್ಕೇರಿದೆ.

ಈ  ತಿಂಗಳ ಮೊದಲ ವಾರದಲ್ಲಿ ಎಸ್ ಐ ಟಿ ಪೊಲೀಸ್ ವಶಕ್ಕೆ ಸಿಕ್ಕಿರುವನೆನ್ನಲಾದವನ ಹೆಸರು ಬಹಿರಂಗಪಡಿಸಿಲ್ಲ.

ಗೌರಿ ಲಂಕೇಶ್ 2017ರ  ಸೆಪ್ಟಂಬರ್ 5 ರಂದು ಕೊಲೆಯಾದರು. ಇದೀಗ ಸಿಕ್ಕಿರುವವರೇ ವಿದ್ವಾಂಸ ಡಾ ಎಂ.ಎಂ.ಕಲಬುರ್ಗಿ ಮತ್ತು ನರೇಂದ್ರ ದಾಭೋಲ್ಕರ್ ಅವರನ್ನು ಹತ್ಯೆ ಮಾಡಿದ್ದಾರೆನ್ನಲಾಗಿದೆ.

ಬಂಧಿತ ಆರೋಪಿಗಳಿಬ್ಬರೂ  ಹೈದರಾಬಾದ್ –ಕರ್ನಾಟಕದಲ್ಲಿ ಪ್ರಭಾವಿ ರಾಜಕಾರಣಿಗಳ ಒಡನಾಟ ಹೊಂದಿದ್ದಾರೆಂದು ಶಂಕಿಸಲಾಗಿದೆ.

ಈಗಾಗಲೇ ಕೆ.ಟಿ. ನವೀನ್ ಕುಮಾರ್ ಎನ್ನುವ ಆರೋಪಿಯನ್ನು 2017 ಮಾರ್ಚ್ 9  ರಂದು ಬಂಧಿಸಿದ್ದರು. ಬಂಧಿತ ಆರೋಪಿ ಕೊಲೆಗಡುಕರೊಂದಿಗೆ ನೇರ ಸಂಬಂಧ ಹೊಂದಿದ್ದು ಈತ ಅವರಿಗೆ ಮಾರಕಾಯುಧಗಳನ್ನು ಸರಬರಾಜು ಮಾಡಿದವನೆಂದು ಹೇಳಲಾಗಿದೆ.

Eight months after Gauri Lankesh’s murder, 2nd man detained

BENGALURU: The Special Investigation Team (SIT) probing the murder of journalist activist Gauri Lankesh has reportedly detained one man earlier this week for allegedly being part of the conspiracy to kill her. The SIT, however, has not revealed his identity.

Gauri was murdered on September 5, 2017, outside her Rajarajeshwarinagar residence in west Bengaluru, and the recent detention follows the only arrest earlier. The SIT arrested KT Naveen Kumar, 37, on March 9, 2017. The arrest was based on SIT’s interrogation of Naveen, a gunrunner, who was first arrested by the Central Crime Branch and handed over to a local police station which had pending cases against him.

The SIT questioned Naveen from March 3 to 8 and then decided to arrest him. Investigators claimed that Naveen was directly part of the killing team and he had provided weapons training to some of them. In April, the SIT said it would conduct a narco-analysis test on Naveen, but they could not after he refused to co-operate with the authorities.
