H.N.Narahari Rao is a film critic from India and is the secretary of FIPRESCI India. He is also a noted film society activist for over 35 years, now serving as the President of the Federation of Film Societies of India. He was also the Artistic Director of the 4th Bengaluru International Film Festival. He has authored several books, including his latest, The Most Memorable Films of the World from the Diaries of the Film Societies.
N. Vidyashankar is a freelance film critic and has been writing on world cinema and Kannada cinema in both English and Kannada language for over three decades. He has been associated with film society movement since 1977. He is also the founder Trustee of Suchitra School of Cinema and Dramatic Arts. He initiated the establishment of Bangalore International Film Festival (BIFFES) and was the Executive Director of the first three editions of the festival. He has compiled a book on European Film theories in Kannada and edited a book on African Cinema.
Prakash Belawadi is a well‐known theatre personality, writer and journalist, filmmaker and film and television producer. He is the Founder‐Trustee of Centre for Film and Drama (CFD) ‐ a unit of Suchitra Cinema and Cultural Academy in collaboration with University of Gothenburg, Sweden. He as a long list of awards in his name, one that includes the National Award, Best Film in English, Stumble (2003), the Prathibha Bhushan, state government award for outstanding talent, 2003 and Rotary Centennial Award for Excellence in Film Making, 2004. He has also won the Aryabhata Award for Best Direction, TV Serial Garva, 2001 and Mahindra Excellence in Theatre Award (META) for Best Actor in Supporting.
