Satyajit Ray Foundation in association with the London Indian Film Festival (LIFF) is inviting entries for its Short Film Competition 2011. The deadline for submissions is Friday, April 29, 2011.
“We are looking for films that show imagination and creativity and reflect the cultural diversity and experiences of South Asians within their own country or the Diaspora”, mentions the official website of the festival.
Entries should be under 20 minutes and must have been completed within two years prior to the closing date. There is an award of £1,000 for the winning film which will be presented and the winning film screened at the London Indian Film Festival’s closing night in July 2011.
