Sahamatha Film Society. Mangalore is organising a one day Film Appreciation Workshop on Saturday 12th November 2011 at Roshani Nilaya. School of Social Work Valencia, Mangalore for the MSW Students.

Veteran film maker and Editor of  ‘Saangathya’ tri monthly film magazine will be the main resource person. Short films on The moving films history, earlier cinema, World cenima, Indian film history, will be screened in the workshop. students will be made comprehensively understand the grammar of moving films way to appreciate the feature films documentaries and short films will be covered in the workshop. The main focus is on developing a critical view on the powerful cinema medium.
