Plot
An amateur entomologist escapes the hustle of the city by studying beetles in the remote sand dunes. At first enraged, he takes his anger on the woman-only to soon become her lover. He slowly accepts his predicament. The story explores philosophical allegory focusing upon the couple’s oppressive confinement and force of their physical attraction to each other.
