Dear Pramod,
Glad for the fill-in. I didn’t say it was from ‘Australia’, it is definitely from The Wizard of Oz, as you can see from the video I posted on FB. In ‘Australia’ there is a reference to this song, which is shot brilliantly. It brought back some distant childhood memories. So this post. It was on FB, so I thought many of my movie-crazy friends would know the connection.
Some more info from Wikipedia regarding this song’s reference in ‘Australia’: “A recurring motif in the film is the Harold Arlen/E.Y. Harburg song “Over the Rainbow” from The Wizard of Oz (1939 film). The song bonds Lady Sarah and Nullah, and relates to the Aboriginal concepts of Rainbow Serpent, songlines, Dreamtime, and “magic men” like Nullah’s grandfather and Nullah himself. In a scene set in October 1939, Nullah is seen raptly watching Oz in a Darwin cinema.”
This not from ‘Australia’. This is from The Wizard of Oz, 1939 fantasy Movie. 72 years old song.

🙂 I haven’t post from FB. But title given here was confusing. So commented.
By the way “The Wizard of Oz” is brilliant movie and milestone in cinema history.
